About Us – John & Judith Nolan

We live at Wilton in the Wollondilly Shire less than an hour south west of the Sydney CBD in a pollution free environment near bush & waterways where we can run & swim our dogs.

We have been registered dog breeders for many years, John having bought his first German Shepherd just after the lifting of the import ban in 72. The first litter of puppies were born in 1974 & this litter & subsequent litters were bought the New Zealand Police Dog Unit. I owned & trained a number of Shepherds including German imports until 1984 when a lifestyle change to the country saw me training & working with Australian Kelpies. Judith was brought up with dogs, has successfully shown & trained Golden Retrievers, shown Maltese & bred both breeds. Judith also now shows & breeds Lagotto Romagnolos with her daughter Brooke.

Dogs play a significant & enjoyable part in our lives & we are both very interested in developing the working qualities of dogs, however we do sometimes exhibit our dogs in Speciality & All Breeds shows. It is important to us that those who take on our puppies are prepared to put time & effort into ongoing socialising, education & training.
